Hi all,
I am getting ready for the weekend away but thought I would share this with you before I go.
There will be a new Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition opening at the National Gallery on the 9th of November. It will run until the 5th of February so there is plenty of time for fans of him and his work to visit. You can find out more about this exhibition here. If you can’t get to the National Gallery, don’t worry as there is a new documentary about him that you might get a chance to watch on the 2nd of November for click here for details.

Hi all,
As its half term, we are planning a trip up to Yorkshire to visit my brother this weekend. He lives in a beautiful part of the country called Hebdon Bridge which is set in the middle of the moors, where we will go on some lovely walks and clear our heads. The town itself is very pretty, with old architecture, cobbled streets and a lovely canal. There are a few nice shops (if you like to go shopping) as well as pubs and restaurants to go to so is a really nice place to go for a little break.

As promised, here is the exciting and brand new halloween ecard that we have been working on! The animation features 3 ugly and scary witches, all huddled around a cauldron brewing a wicked concoction. There is a funny twist at the end too and its accompanied by some really spooky music which will get you in the mood for the halloween celebrations!
Today is Diwali and we have a fantastic ecard that you can send to all of your loved ones to kick off the celebrations. The Diwali ecard is a beautiful kaleidoscope animation which is accompanied by vibrant music. Click here to view it.

Hi all,
I am getting more excited by the day about Halloween especially as our new Halloween ecard is so close to being ready!
Our kids are too old now to go trick or treating or have halloween parties like we used to, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t get into the spirit. I still like to carve some pumpkins to put on our doorstep and in the garden or house as they make beautiful seasonal lamps which can last up to 10 days if you soak the finished carving in bleach for 8 hours and then spray with a mild bleach solution each day.

Hi all,
Halloween is almost upon us! We are just adding the finishing touches to the new Halloween e card which will be on the website very soon!
I love Halloween. Its such a magical time for children and there is excitement in the air. When my children were younger, we always used to have huge Halloween parties for them with their friends. We would spend all day decorating the the inside and outside of the house and Molly and Joe would be planning and then sculpting their pumpkins for the whole of the half term holiday!

Hi all,
I hate that I have done it – but I checked as I was planning when we could get some of the new Christmas ecards up on the website and did a quick count and I couldn’t believe it. 9 weeks! It was only summer the other day, where has the time gone?!

Hi all,
I have been joining various sites over the past few days, one of which is Tumblr, where I have been adding some information about me and my cards but also having a look around for some interesting and new things that are being added and following them from my profile. Its a great way of finding new and interesting websites, blogs and individuals.
A recent find has been this fantastic website featuring nature photography – http://www.naturegalleries.net/.
There are some utterly stunning photographs on this website, my favourites being the animals and the birds (which i have featured below). Take a look at the website, the pictures are fascinating!

Hi all,
As you may or may not know, I live near the lovely Bushy park and I absolutely love taking Plum for a walk there. It really helps me to relax and get inspiration for new e cards. Its so beautiful and we’re very lucky to have deer there that we can see when we visit.
I recently wrote a blog post about the deer’s going into to rutting season and that they make loud roaring noises at the beginning of the season and begin to fight each other. When we first moved here, Nick and I couldn’t work out what the sound was as it was soo loud we thought that there were lions in the park!

Hi all,
I made this dish not long ago for Nick’s birthday and it was so lovely I just had to share it. It was an aromatic and spicy dish of marinated and fried salmon fillets and singapore noodles with vegetables. It was soo tasty because of all the lovely ingredients, and although there are a lot of ingredients, once you’ve done 10-15 minutes of preparation, its almost ready!

(Nigella's) Seared Salmon with Singapore Noodles
