There has been a lot to celebrate in the recent few weeks and I’m pleased to say that the fun isn’t going to stop for a little while yet as there are still some fabulous events in July such as:

Canada Day – 1st of July 2012

On the 1st of July every year, Canadian’s celebrate the anniversary of the formation of the union of the British North America provinces in a federation under the name of Canada. Much like the American Independence day, this is a day for families and friends to get together, enjoy the warm weather, eat food and relax. Celebrations can include fireworks and parades and many will send each other greetings. We have a wonderful Canada Day e card that you can use to wish your loved ones well wishes on the day. Independence Day – 4th of July 2012

On the 4th of July every year American’s based all over the world commemorate the adoption 0f the Declaration of Independence which happened on the 4th July 1776 and declared United States of America independent from Great Britain. People enjoy celebrating this holiday by holding partie’s and BBQ’s for their friends and family and attending carnivals and fairs. Fireworks are used as part of the celebration as well as themed ‘red, white and blue’ food, dress and decorations. The Olympics 2012

The 2012 Olympics are taking place in London and begin on the 27th of July. This is a great reason for anyone to get into the spirit and hold their own opening ceremony  as no one can be left out with every country in the world being represented!
